Hello! I am delighted you came to check out my work! I hope it is as much of a joy for you to look at as it was for me to create! I truly love all aspects of art and design and I love to learn, so please check back frequently as I add more projects to share!
A bit about my background
Began my career as a fashion designer, basking in the world of shiny fabric and swooning over cochineal dyed hand spun yarn. However, I soon found my true calling lay in the territory of graphic design and digital illustration. I obtained my BFA from Parsons in fashion design and worked a few years in New York doing that and while I still cherish the artistry of crafting garments, and sometimes get the urge to meticulously pin pleats on a dress form, I realize my strengths are through digital design. I realized i adored designing the textile prints on illustrator, choosing the color palettes and embellishments, creating the packaging and logos , designing advertisements and photo shoots rather than the actual sewing or pattern making aspects of fashion design. So after a few years of creative exploration and a baby later, I decided to go back to Parsons to obtain a professional graphic design certificate where I also learned a bit about animation! A new fun trick in my hat! I have been a freelancer for some time now and have given my creative all to each of my clients projects. It is so fun to work with so many different people and businesses. I enjoy helping others achieve visually their dreams come true! At the heart of it all, I'm driven by a love for art, a passion for history, and a mission to create a funky, cool, beautiful, and playful world through design!
If I am not coloring the world with art , than I am encouraging my sweet little girl to paint and draw her beautiful scribbles and/or hanging out with a cool philosopher named Reid. We share a joyful life with many laughs in our little slice of heaven in Austin Texas.
